Meet Curtis Hill, our 2024 Convention General Session 1 Keynote Speaker

Curtis Hill Headshot

We are pleased to announce our keynote speaker, Curtis Hill. Curtis is the Founder and CEO of Culture of Belonging Global, dedicated to creating inclusive cultures and placing it as a strategic initiative within organizations.

Curtis Hill will speak at the Opening General Session of the Council for Exceptional Children’s Annual Convention and Expo in San Antonio, Texas, on March 13, 2024.

Curtis Hill grew up in Chicago, where he lived a life of crime and violence. After witnessing the murder of his best friend, he came face-to-face with the consequences of his actions and the suffering it was causing within his community.

As a result, Mr. Hill turned towards education, earning multiple degrees, and a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. As an award-winning educator, Curtis Hill now travels the globe to work with corporations, associations, and organizations to create a “Culture of Belonging,” where people can thrive and maximize productivity.

“When people feel like they belong, they bring more of their true selves. It’s about the freedom of people being exactly who they were created to be.”
