Holidays

12 days per year:

Vacation

13 to 26 days per year, on accrual basis.

All regular full-time employees accrue vacation as of their employment hire date as follows:

  • First year 3.75 hours per pay period / 13 days for the year
  • 2nd year 4.75 hours / 16.46 days for the year
  • 3rd year 5.75 hours / 19.93 days for the year
  • 4th year 6.75 hours / 23.4 days for the year
  • 5th year + 7.50 hours / 26 dats for the year

Vacation accrual caps at 150 hours. 

Sick Leave 13 days per year, on accrual basis
Personal Leave 1 day per calendar year

 

Medical

PPO options (United Healthcare). Employer funded with employee contributions ranging from $34.44 to $59.00 per paycheck (spouse and family plans cost additional).
Dental and Vision

MetLife plan options. Employer funded with employee contributions ranging from $0 to $6.39 per paycheck (spouse and family plans cost additional).

Life and AD&D Employer paid. Supplemental coverage available at employee's expense.
Short-Term Disability Employer paid
Long-Term Disability Employer paid

 

403(b) Retirement Plan
  • CEC provides an automatic contribution of 5% of compensation. Employees can elect to contribute more. 
  • A 403(b) plan is similar to a 401(k) plan. CEC's plan is an automatic pre-tax (tax-deferred) employer paid money purchase plan. This is similar to a pension plan in governmental, education, or high education fields. 

 

Allows you to set aside money from your paycheck, pre-tax, to pay for healthcare expenses.

Transportation Benefits Employer subsidy for mass transit & parking expenses. For employees who work out of the Arlington, VA office.
