Julie Bost

Dr. Julie Irene Bost is an Associate Clinical Professor and Program Coordinator for the Specialized Education Department at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In this role, she coordinates the Special Education Programs, teaches undergraduate and graduate level courses, and supervises student teachers. Previously, she was a Program Specialist for Exceptional Children for the Alamance-Burlington School System in North Carolina where she supervised and supported special education programs. Julie’s twenty years of experience in public education also includes that of teacher of students with exceptionalities in both special education and general education classrooms in grades K-12. She earned her M.Ed. in Special Education in 2003, her National Board Certification in 2005, and her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations in 2015. She is a Past-President of NC-CEC and formerly served on the National CASE Executive Board as Membership Chair and Research Liaison.
