Nick Polcini
Nick D. Polcini has served as a special educator for about 21 years in the field. He has been a middle school teacher and a high school teacher working with kids with Learning Disabilities and Autism. Nick graduated from West Chester University of PA in 2000 in Special Education and earned his M. Ed. In Special Education with an area of concentration in Secondary Transition at WCU in 2005. Nick currently teaches as a special education teacher at B. Reed Henderson High School in the West Chester Area School District in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Nick also served as President for the Pennsylvania Council for Exceptional Children (PACEC) back in 2014. Also CEC Held it annual convention in Philadelphia during Nick’s year as President of Pennsylvania CEC.
Nick is very passionate as a special educator as he strives to advocate for all of his students with exceptionalities to achieve their personal best. His theme when he chaired the Pennsylvania CEC Convention in November 2013 was “The 3 R’s in Education” Reading, wRighting and Relationships! Nick believes in building relationships with his students to help them succeed not only in the classroom but in the community in which they live!
