The SAND is a comprehensive sensory assessment that blends a semi structured clinical observation with a clinician guided caregiver interview. All key summary scores reflect both directly observed behaviors and caregiver reported symptoms, giving clinicians a well rounded view of a child’s sensory reactivity. Designed for children ages 2 to 12, the assessment takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes to administer. The kit includes all toys and manipulatives needed to create an engaging, play based experience—making the process engaging and enjoyable for both children and clinicians.
S.T.O.P. and Relax© is a structured, yoga based curriculum that teaches children and adolescents how to regulate their bodies first — so thinking, learning, and social engagement can follow. Through brief daily lessons, children ultimately learn to reduce muscle tension and regulate breathing, activate the parasympathetic (calming) nervous system, use visual and verbal cues to self calm, and recover from stress and emotional dysregulation. Designed by a team of experts in yoga therapy, autism education and school psychology, S.T.O.P. and Relax© is an innovative program for individuals of all abilities.
The Stroop Color and Word Test is a fast, five minute measure of executive functions such as processing speed, inhibitory control, and cognitive flexibility. The Children’s Version, designed for ages 5 to 14 years, accounts for the unique developmental factors that make interpretation more complex than in adults—such as learning difficulties, attention concerns, emotional regulation, and overall maturity. To address these challenges, the Children’s Version uses a scoring structure specifically developed for pediatric data. Interpretive guidelines are tailored separately for younger children (ages 5–10) and older children (ages 11–14) and are fully detailed in the Children’s Manual.
The CASD is a quick, reliable tool for screening and diagnosing autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in children/adolescents ages 1 to 17 years, of any IQ level or ASD severity. It consists of a comprehensive list of 30 core and associated ASD symptoms, organized into six domains: social interaction challenges, perseverative behaviors, somatosensory disturbances, atypical communication and development, mood disturbances, and attention and safety concerns. Symptoms are scored as present (either currently or in the past) or absent, based on a semi-structured parent interview, teacher or caregiver input, direct observations, and review of available records.
SMiLE is a multisensory, evidence based program that teaches speech, reading, and writing in a structured and engaging way. Based on the Association Method, it provides step‑by‑step instruction for individuals with severe language/literacy challenges. SMiLE has been used successfully with a wide variety of students, including those with autism, traumatic brain injury, intellectual disabilities, hearing or vision impairments, and other special needs. The program is easily learned by speech-language pathologists and regular and special education teachers. The kit includes the implementation manual; sound/word/picture flash cards; a flash drive with all support and reproducible materials; and a whiteboard and markers for activities.
